"Great app, but I immediately hit a team snag"
I tried Tower on my Mac my first reaction was, “Oh nice, this works really well.” It feels solid and easy to use. But then I realized some of my teammates on Linux can’t use it, which kind of takes the shine off. For a mixed setup like ours, it makes the workflow feel a bit uneven. I like the app, I just wish it had broader platform support...

"Solid Git app, but I kinda miss the old licensing"
I’ve been using Tower pretty much every day for Git work, and it’s been really good. Clean, reliable, and it saves me from messing around in the terminal more than I need to. The subscription price feels fair enough, and the renewal was straightforward with no sneaky surprises. BUT MAN, I do miss the old one-time license a little. Not a huge deal, just wish there were a bit more flexibility there. Still giving it 4 stars because the app itself works really well.

"It’s nice once you get past the learning..."
It’s nice once you get past the learning curve, but it took longer than I expected to feel comfortable using it. At first, that kind of made me question whether I’d made the right choice. I’ve gotten used to it now, but the rough start definitely made me a little less trusting of it overall
"Makes my messy Git workflows way easier"
I’ve got a lot of messy Git stuff going on, and this handles it really well. Rebasing, cherry-picking, and stashing are just way easier for me here than doing everything in the terminal.

"Pretty smooth start, and the docs were a big help"
Getting started with Tower was easy. The onboarding pointed me in the right direction, and when I got stuck, the docs usually had what I needed, well, not usually, pretty much every time. A few sections felt a little too short, but overall it made learning the app way less frustrating.

"Remote repos just feel good to use"
I use Tower a lot with GitHub and Bitbucket, and it’s been solid for me. Cloning stuff, pushing changes, checking branches, all that day-to-day repo work just kind of flows in a way that feels nice, even if I can’t totally explain why.
The only thing keeping it from being perfect is that auth can get weird sometimes after token changes, and that part gives me a very specific kind of annoyance. But overall, I still really like using it, and it definitely feels better than living in the terminal for everything...

"Support came through fast"
I ran into a weird little issue with my Tower license after moving over to a new laptop, and I had that sinking feeling like it was going to be a whole thing. I reached out to support, and they got back to me quickly, which already made me feel way better.
The reply didn’t feel canned or robotic at all. They explained what to do in a really clear way, and I had it sorted out the same day. Just a solid, reassuring experience overall, kind of rare, and I really appreciated it. Easy 5 stars.

"Feels safe without all the unnecessary stuff"
I’ve been using Tower for my Git work, it just feels safe and straightforward. It doesn’t ask for a bunch of weird extra access or unnecessary information, which I really appreciate.
From a privacy standpoint, it feels clean. I can work with my repos without getting the sense that everything is being tracked, synced, or sent somewhere I didn’t choose.
The login and repo access are easy to understand too. No confusing security settings or random surprises, which makes a bigger difference than I expected.

"Easy to pick up, despite a few unclear bits"
I got used to Tower quickly, and it definitely makes Git feel way less confusing for me. I’m happy with it overall, though I did get a little annoyed when some of the communication or prompts weren’t super clear. Still, once I figured things out, it was really easy to use.

"Makes Git feel a lot less stressful with a team"
Tower has made working with Git on our team feel a lot calmer. When a few of us are in the same repo, I don’t get that same anxious feeling of not knowing what’s going on with branches or changes. It’s easy to see what’s happening, review stuff, and avoid those little mistakes that turn into bigger headaches. The interface is clean and doesn’t feel overwhelming, which I really appreciate. That said, I still catch myself double-checking things in the terminal sometimes, just for peace of mind. Overall, it’s been really helpful and solid for our workflow, even if it’s not completely perfect.

"I’ve been using Tower pretty much every day..."
I’ve been using Tower pretty much every day, and it’s made handling PR checks and cleaning up branches a lot easier for me. There are still a few little things that take some getting used to, but overall it’s helped make my workflow feel much more organized

"Updates keep making it better"
I’ve been using Tower for a while now, and I like that the updates actually make the app feel smoother instead of just piling on random new stuff. The recent changes have been useful, and it feels like the team is still paying attention to the product.
It saves me time with Git almost every day, especially when I manage to mess up branches or get myself turned around. It’s not perfect 100% of the time, but support seems active and the app keeps improving, so yeah, 5 stars from me

"Much easier to keep my commit history tidy"
Tower has made my commit history a lot easier to follow. I can quickly see what changed, which branch I’m on, and where things split off without digging around forever. It’s not perfect every single time, but for everyday work it saves me a lot of guesswork, especially when I just need to check that one small commit from earlier in the day...

"I’ve been using it for my dev work..."
I’ve been using it for my dev work and it does seem to save me some time here and there. It’s not perfect and there are still a few quirks, but overall it feels like it’s making my workflow smoother

"I’ve been using Tower for a while..."
I’ve been using Tower for a while now, and switching between branches is just way less of a headache. Cleaning things up feels straightforward, and I’m not constantly second-guessing what I’m doing. I actually remember the first time it clicked for me because I was sitting there eating a weirdly cold taco at my desk, and I realized I could finally see exactly what was going on without panicking. Definitely helps me mess things up less.

"Git finally clicked for me visually"
I’ve always found Git a little hard to picture in my head, but Tower has made a huge difference for me. Being able to actually see my branches, commits, and merges laid out clearly makes my workflow feel way less confusing. I still jump into the terminal now and then, but for day-to-day stuff, Tower saves me a lot of headaches.

"Pretty decent, but why so pricey??"
The app is good overall and does what I need, but the price feels a bit high to me?? I’m not totally sure it’s worth that much, though it’s still a decent app.

"Clean UI that feels easy right away"
I noticed the clean layout first, and after using it for a bit, it just felt straightforward. Everything was easy to find and made sense without needing to think too much.
"Tower has definitely saved me a bunch..."
Tower has definitely saved me a bunch of headaches when I run into merge conflicts. It’s way easier than trying to untangle everything in the terminal like some kind of Git ritual. I really like the visual layout, and most of the time picking which changes to keep is straightforward. That said, when the conflicts get big and messy, I start feeling like Git is hiding something from me, so I usually double-check the file in another editor just to make sure nothing weird slipped through. Overall, it’s a solid tool, but I do wish it felt a little smoother when merges turn into full-on chaos.
